Video Poker is a popular game that usually will be wagered on in casinos all over the world, or in your house on your computer, through a net connection. The regulations are very simple and consist of the player trying to get the greatest combination of cards possible in order to win money. In this respect it is very similar as a classic game of poker, apart from the interaction with any other players. A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It is obvious that the payout schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable players are agile enough to select the most profitable machine each instance.

Once the initial round has played out, the player can either decide to stay on in an attempt to increase their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any credits that they may have won. Additionally, a few styles of the game allow the player a chance to increase their wins, in which situation a further round is played. There are also variations among specific machines, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
